Reconstructive Surgery

Following prior lumbar surgery, there is always the possibility that there have been mechanical changes, further injury or a deteriorating arthritic condition. All of these could be resulting in pressure on nerves, joints or the spinal cord and causing chronic pain.

Comprehensive re-evaluation of the spine by an experienced surgeon and further testing may present an opportunity to do reconstructive surgery and relieve these symptoms. Each patient presents with unique problems that are specific to them and each case should be fully investigated with the patient to find the right solution.
